I don't think his character has gotten to that point yet. Aqua is still in his Team 7 Sasuke phase (the beginning). His "Mangekyou Staringan" should awaken when he reaches his "Just Killed Orochimaru" phase or later.

That's the Sad thing. Aqua Never addressed Ai as Mother, He was always calling her Ai.

because he dont know how to address Ai. If its as mother, as a fan , or an opposite gender. Like the role he will play.

The problem is his body came out of her womb, his mind did not. He's a reincarnate, he knew her before she became his physical mother.

I know but so did Ruby. Take Rudius (Jobless reincarnation) for an Example here. He was, and is a Massive pervert. So when he first saw his Mother's chest, he thought "Whoooo A Chest". But after sometimes he realised that he doesn't feel that way about his mother. And for someone like Rudius this is a big thing. So if Rudius realises this, Aqua should be able to as well. And that's why I'm saying that he is just being really Creepy.

Rudius' mother post reincarnation wasn't the woman he loved as an adult before getting reincarnated. Aqua had feelings for Ai before reincarnating, it's why he's going scorched earth, any means necessary to find out who had her killed. Keep in mind this is the same guy who was basically taking care of her medical needs through the pregnancy, quite literally helping take care of his new body. So he has his past life feelings and also professionalism for her.

Ruby was just a massive AI fan, she never really got the chance to do anything but be that. Aqua had a much deeper relationship with Ai before he and Ruby were reborn.

Dude he was just his doctor, Nothing Else. I have a doctor and believe me my relationship with him is not that deep.😂 All the Joking aside, There was no relationship between them. He was just a fan, just like Ruby and Nothing else. I would understand if he was as obsessed as that Stalker but he was not.

Do you remember the first episode? They made a very obvios point of explaining that Ruby(pre-reincarnate) was a huge fan of Ai BEACUASE watching/listening to Ai on TV was one of the few things she could do while growing weaker, that coupled with her love/appreciation for Aqua(pre-reincarnation) due to him trying his best to save her is the big link between the three as he grew to appreciate Ai because of Ruby's prior self even after she died and he wanted to help the one who was light in the darkness for his precious patient.

TLDR; Ai is VERY precious to Ruby and Aqua for several reasons.

I understand where you are coming from. But listen to me for s sec. I agree that they were huge fans of Ai. But you know who else was a Big fan of Ai "Ryouske". That Motherf*cker was even more hardcore than them. And he is the only one we see but I am sure that Ai had a Lot of Crazy fans like that. Their Love/Craziness is much more hardcore than Ruby or Aqua's. And Aqua's attraction to her only gotten worst after he was reborn. In his previous life "Gorou" wasn't this crazy. Gorou put his Duty as a doctor before his Fan frenzy.

Again, I don't get why Aqua/Gorou is getting treated like he's crazy. In regards to his current choice of revenge, it comes from the fact the someone intentionally sicked a twisted fan on someone very important to him. Consider this, If someone targeted Ruby/Serena or his adoptive mother, he would still likely behave similarly because of his protective caring personality. BTW, Love can and often IS more than just romance. Note how Aqua is super protective of Ruby because he is mentally a full grown adult who despite being very caring towards those close to hm has had experience with death in multiple ways(death of a close patient, his own death, and then witnessing the murder of his own mother).

Long story short Aqua is the calculating type with a big heart for those he lets close to him.

Even that itself is creepy, cus Aqua was a whole ass adult when he met Ai. She was 16. Sowgether old or new life, his feelings for Ai is creepy

You can't even really compare Aqua's mindset to Ruby's. Serena dreamed of being Ai's child, so Ruby adored being able to call Ai Mama. There was no conflict there for her at all, her old life was a dead end and her new life was all she'd dreamed of.

Aqua enjoyed his new life, but he had never dreamed of being Ai's child and lived it from the perspective of having met her in his previous life. So he didn't feel right acting as if the old life never happened. He still had his principles as Ai's doctor. He even regretted that she had weird reincarnated kids in he and Ruby.

They both loved AI, but in different ways.
